Finance and Creativity meet at Play by NAStartUp

UniCredit, Credimi, and Zephiro Investments are among the guests at StartupPlay, the innovation gym that inaugurates its 9th year of activity. The new free event will be streamed on March 30 at 6 pm.

Micro mobility, innovations in rental and fintech (such as Credimi), and guests from the world of finance (UniCredit and Zephiro Investments). StartupPlay, the live streaming format created by Antonio Prigiobbo and developed by the network and community of NAStartUp, returns to talk about innovation. Guests such as Giusy Stanziola of UniCredit, Joseph Grosso of Zephiro Investments, and Ignazio Rocco di Torrepadula of Credimi and the news of the format such as the entry of a new sponsor accelerator, Kineton, are some anticipations of the appointment in streaming, Wednesday, March 30 starting at 18:00 on www.nastartup.it/play and on all NAStartUp social networks:

“The entry of a new entrepreneurial group in the team, led by Giovanni Fiengo with Kineton, is an indication of how NAStartUp is able to intercept some of the best players of Italian innovation, connecting them. Idea Solution, Quadronica (Fantacalcio.it), and now Kineton become active players in support of the community’s startups, both in terms of funding opportunities and in terms of sharing skills and experience,” explains Antonio Prigiobbo, founder of the initiative who leads the staff with the advisor, Brigida Ardolino, and Giancarlo Donadio.

Finance tells its story at Play

On the NAStartUp “stage” some of the main players in Italian finance will be present. Ignazio Rocco di Torrepadula will talk about the lending contribution to innovation and will offer advice on how to scale up a startup with his Credimi, which is among the fastest-growing companies in Italy (data from Sole24Ore) and has raised about 40 million dollars (source: Crunchbase).

Giusy Stanziola, from UniCredit Start Lab, will take stock of the financial institution’s support program for young entrepreneurs, innovation, and new technologies, which over the years has accelerated some of the main Italian startups such as 1000farmacie that recently cashed a $15 million round.

And also, Joseph Grosso will describe the innovation support activities of Zephiro Investments, an “independent boutique investment bank, specialized in advising on strategic finance operations.

Micro mobility and fintech

There are four startups that will tell their stories in StartupPlay. Among these, Psykoboard by Christian Gentile from Taranto, who has created a new scooter/skateboard made entirely of carbon fiber and with an Italian design.

Fintech is the field in which Taskupper operates. The startup is based in Milan by Raimondo Bruschi, who has created a platform that acts as a technological regulator of the payment process between two subjects, a seller and a buyer.

In Switzerland, the idea of Florentine Niccolò Fanelli intertwines sharing economy and coworking, with his Cow Working, a marketplace that facilitates the meeting between smart workers and owners of unused spaces where to work.

From the Sorrento Peninsula, the idea of Gennaro Fraddano, is called RentObuy, the app that promises to speed up car rental through an app and the reduction of bureaucratic practices.

Big data for startups and businesses

The protagonist of the column “ReadYnnovation”, which talks about books on innovation, will be the manager and author Andrea De Mauro. Head of Business Intelligence at Vodafone, De Mauro will talk about his latest book “Data Analytics for Everyone” (Apogeo), telling how startups must leverage big data to improve their KPIs. The column is conceived and directed by journalist and entrepreneur, Giancarlo Donadio.
