Kineton for MIT students

Kineton has enthusiastically contributed to the Externship project of the University of Sannio, Benevento for students of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology – MIT.

In collaboration with Maxwell Fishelson (MIT student), we’ve successfully built a real-time object detection system for the automotive sector. To achieve the goal of the project, a solution based on deep learning was implemented.

Thanks to the Externship program, thirty students of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology arrived at the University of Sannio this year for a month of study in Italy in order to carry out an internship at the three Unisannio departments, thanks to the letter of intent signed by Italian university with MIT MISTI Italy, the MIT body responsible for promoting international collaboration initiatives of technical and scientific nature.
