Data fusion for the implementation of algorithms in control systems in urban air mobility

The autonomous navigation of small UACs in urban scenarios is assuming in the last years a central role in the research themes given the numerous possible applications. The activity in question is based on the acquisition of theoretical/practical skills aimed at research and development of innovative solutions for the problems of this area, to enable new possible uses of this technology. The trainee will be able to interface with SW tools (e.g. Toolchain Matlab/Simulink) implementing advanced control strategies and algorithms for the determination of attitude and position of the UAV integrating information from various sensors onboard.
